Last night we completed the installation of the benches, finsished the grouting, all iron work has been set and the base course was laid to the carriageway.

Tonight we will be jet washing the whole site.

Tomorrow we will be laying the master tint to the carriageway.

Last night we excavated the carriageway from Pump Street to Elgar Statue, completed the grouting at Monsoon's and to all the BT Boxes, installed some of the bencehes and the Elgar plaque.

Tonight we plan to complete the installaiton of the benches and continue with the grouting. Resurfacing will be carried out approximatly 6pm - 10pm

Last night we installed the bollards at Elgar Statue, completed the grouting to the central area, moved the illuminated sign at Pump street and cut in the slabs.

Last night we laid slabing to the central area and comlpeted some kerbing by Elgar statue. we were unable to carry out any grouting due to the rain and barriers ahve been left in place to protect the new slabs.

Tonight we plan to complete the kerbing, lay Slabs to the Crown Plaza area, begine the installation of the bollards from Jack Wills to Fish Street. We also plan to grout where possible weather permitting.

Tonight we will be completing the slab laying to the western footpath, commence the installation of gullies and complete the cutting around existing pipework.

Tomorrow we plan to install the remaining gullies to the western footpath and remove the street furniture.

Last night we excavated and laid kerbs 1m from Asilah Lounge (Moroccan restaurant) and to slab up to Fish Street.

The planned works for tonight, dependent on the weather,  is to lay slabs up to Asilah Lounge. If inclement, we will be removing the street furniture.

Today we will be re bedding the coping stones by the church

Last night we laid kerbing to the south of Fish Street and laid slabs up to St Helen’s Church (All Saints).

The planned works for tonight is to excavate and lay kerbs 1m from Asilah Lounge (Moroccan) and to slab up to Fish Street.

The improvement scheme to the High Street, from Pump Street to Elgar's statue, remains on schedule to commence tonight from 6pm. Initially we shall set up our site and works compound, then excavate trial holes to locate underground services before working on the new kerb line on the western side of the High Street.
